Often referred to as the car that saved Porsche, the first generation Boxster (986) was introduced in late 1996 and was Porsche's first model designed purely as a roadster since the 550 Spyder of the 1950's. The early cars were powered by a 2.5ltr water cooled flat 6 cylinder engine mid mounted powering the rear wheels. The engine size was increased to 2.7ltr in 2000 and the more powerful 3.2 S was also introduced. Our low mileage car is a 2000 3.2S fitted with the 6 speed manual gearbox and finished in Ocean Blue (L3AZ) metallic paintwork with black leather trim. Just 35,000 miles have been covered in the car which benefits a fabulous history with the last service being carried out by us 100 miles ago. This car really does present itself beautifully.
