We recently purchased this nice looking Audi A3 from a dealer in Hinckley where it was taken in part exchange and road tested it over 40 miles back to our base in Weldon. The car started first time from cold, the 148 BHP engine sounded great and it powered through all 6 gears with no troubles at all. Both the gearbox and clutch operated smoothly with no clunks, crunches or slipping. The Audi sat at 70mph on the dual carriageway comfortably and held the back roads well too with no knocks from the suspension. We have just replaced a wheel bearing that was slightly noisy, put a brand new stop/start battery on the car and replaced the front brake pads/discs so it's all good to go! The black leather/cloth interior is in great condition with no rips in the seats, the cabin smells fresh and all electrics worked as they should including the bluetooth, dab multimedia, front electric windows and climate control with cold air con. The A3 has been very well looked after and comes with a comprehensive history with proof of eight services which were done at intervals of 18566, 36501, 43723, 69597, 74128, 1***, 117298 and 120603 miles. Our recent service included a new battery and front brake pads & discs. We have also Mot'd and carried out a 47 point safety check on the vehicle which came back from the garage with a clean bill of health.
